TrackMyStats
Privacy policy
Effective October 9, 2026. TrackMyStats is a personal measurement tracker operated by Stephen Brown. Contact: mr_sbrown@yahoo.com.
Information accessed and stored
With the mailbox owner's authorization, TrackMyStats uses the Gmail API to find emails with a configured label, read their content, extract measurements, and apply a processed label. The requested gmail.modify permission allows broader mailbox modification, but TrackMyStats does not send or delete email.
Stored measurements include metric names, values, units, timestamps, notes when supplied, and source email identifiers used to prevent duplicate imports. Email content is processed to extract measurements; raw email bodies are not stored in the measurement database. OAuth credentials are retained to maintain the authorized Gmail connection.
Purpose and access
Data is used to collect, display, and maintain the owner's measurements. Approved dashboard users can access the same measurements. Data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Google Cloud provides hosting, database storage, credential storage, and operational logging. Credentials are held in Secret Manager, and application access is restricted through Google Cloud identities. Operational logs exclude email bodies, measurement notes, and credentials. Access may also be required to comply with applicable law.
Retention and deletion
Measurements remain until the owner requests deletion. Contact the operator to request export or deletion of stored measurements and credentials. Deleted data may remain in rotating backups until those backups expire; the planned managed deployment retains fourteen daily backups and seven days of recovery history.
You can revoke Gmail authorization through your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized collection but does not automatically erase measurements already stored.
Google API data
TrackMyStats' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
